Placeholder: the reading template
This is not an essay. It is the shape an essay will take, so the reading experience can be judged before the writing exists.
Body text is set at a comfortable size with generous line spacing and a measure of roughly sixty-five characters. Replace this paragraph with real writing.
A second paragraph, so the spacing between paragraphs can be judged in context rather than in isolation.
A section heading
Sections are separated by a serif heading and a little extra air above it. Nothing decorative, nothing that interrupts.
A pulled line sits slightly apart, in the serif, at a size that invites a pause rather than demanding one.
And the essay continues afterwards, in the same rhythm it kept before.
